Broadcom ARE1 High Power Infrared Emitting Diodes feature high radiant power and intensity, with typical viewing angles of 90° and 150°. The ARE1 Diodes provide the choice of 850nm or 940nm peak wavelength range. The Infrared Diodes deliver a low-profile package design and ultra-small footprint suitable for a wide variety of applications where space and height are constrained. The device is compatible with the industrial reflow soldering process. The High Power IR LEDs are ideal for infrared illumination and surveillance systems.
